Send Anibel Valentine’s Wishes

Send Anibel a Valentine's Day Wish

Please give in Anibel’s honor and send her an encouraging note as she recovers. We’ll add your message to our Valentine’s card for her; it will bring a smile to her face and yours.
Anibel Anibel was born with a condition called Nager’s Syndrome, a very rare syndrome related to Treacher Collins Syndrome. Nager’s Syndrome is characterized by underdeveloped cheek bones and a very small lower jaw. Because of this, Anibel has had a tracheostomy to help her breathe her whole life and uses a feeding tube to get most of her nutrients. She’s had 28 surgeries, and she’s only 14 years old.

You’d never know how much she’s been through when you meet Anibel. She has a bright personality that brings warmth to everyone she meets. You can’t help but love her.

Anibel is currently undergoing a painful treatment to expand the room in her face, in the hopes that she will be able to breathe without a tracheostomy. This process will likely take months, but if she’s able to breathe without her trach, she’ll be able to go swimming, build a snowman, and have the snowball fight she’s always wanted.
