Program Assistant – Position Summary
Position Title: Program Assistant (Full Time)
Location: New York, NY
Reports to: Senior Program Officer
myFace is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Assistant to support our growing initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist with the coordination of programs, lead community outreach efforts, and organize engagement events. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact. The Program Assistant will also collaborate with stakeholders to collect data, helping to expand and revitalize current program offerings.
Objectives of this Role
- Assist in the successful execution of core myFace programs
- Support the development and refinement of program materials, including educational resources, newsletters, and promotional content.
- Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect data and feedback, supporting program evaluation and the revitalization of current offerings
Key Areas of Responsibility
Program Coordination:
- Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of myFace programming.
- Support the development and refinement of program materials, including educational resources, newsletters, and promotional content.
- Lead outreach efforts to engage new participants and build relationships with community partners, including schools, and community organizations.
- Develop and organize community engagement events aimed at bringing the myFace community together.
- Assist with organizing outreach events to raise awareness and educate the public about craniofacial differences and myFace’s mission.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (families, healthcare providers, educators) to collect data and feedback, supporting program evaluation and the revitalization of current offerings.
- Track program metrics and assist in preparing reports on program impact and areas for improvement.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing program-related inquiries.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of partner organizations, schools, and families served.
- Assist in creating and editing content for social media and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with myFace’s mission and messaging.
- Support outreach efforts related to program activities to increase visibility and community engagement.
Qualifications for Consideration
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Experience and comfort in professionally communicating with Trustees, donors and other high-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Discerning listener with outstanding attention to detail and a sense of urgency in follow-through are essential.
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely to inquiries, and present written/oral briefings
- Strong sense of personal and professional integrity, judgment, commitment, and perseverance.

SALARY
Range – $40,000 – $50,000 – commensurate with experience<
OTHER INFORMATION
Currently, the position is hybrid with the majority of time in the office (minimum 3-days per week).
