“I wanted to become a nurse largely because I had so many surgeries growing up and now I want to help people. I’ve had some phenomenal nurses that helped me, so it was my way of giving back to the community. And I think that’s part of the reason why I’m the type of nurse I am today – because of the experiences I’ve had, especially the bad experiences.”
